A company born to accelerate innovation, driven by a culture that embraces calculated risks and tackles challenges head-on. Our journey has been one of resilience—overcoming obstacles, adapting to change, and achieving rapid growth. With a steadfast commitment to creating lasting value in our communities, we are a manufacturing company designing and building the infrastructure of tomorrow, fueled by an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit.
Accelevation is born

Around a kitchen table in southwest Ohio, founders Micheal and Shawn Rubiera had an idea for the kind of company they wanted to create. They envisioned a place where teams would push themselves and each other, where people were encouraged to take risks, and where innovation and creativity would be celebrated. They combined their respective work experiences into a philosophy that would shape the company: a business culture that positively impacts employees, their families, the community and their customers. Their commitment was rooted in creating value that stays local and benefits those that created it.
Southeast Tool and Coach Tool & Die join the family

These two Dayton-area based CNC machine shops had a reputation for quality and excellent customer service.
Revolution IronWorks Created

With the investment of two passive investors, Revolution IronWorks launched, tapping into Ohio’s proud history of manufacturing innovation and trade expertise. This began building our reputation of customizing solutions for our customers in the automotive, aviation and robotics industry.
Retool & Refocus

The 2020 COVID pandemic disrupted manufacturing worldwide. Major customers shut down overnight, and Accelevation faced cancelled orders, mounting bills, and idle machinery. Rather than dwelling on the situation, the team retooled and refocused: the nation needed protective barriers, and the company had a culture of rapid prototyping and improvement, plus the necessary equipment. Michael Rubiera built the first prototypes in his garage. The shop floor was remodeled. Employees got back to work making Office Guard custom protective barriers for offices, schools and hospitals. Not only did the company survive, but 100% of employees remained employed through the pandemic.
Data Center Stretch

Having developed experience assembling custom polycarbonate panels, and building upon prior work experience and connections, the company shifted to a new industry – data center containment. Armed with an idea and a prototype, Accelevation secured a large containment contract -and the company was stretched again. Accepting the contract meant standing up a completely new business unit—finalized product, new suppliers, new processes and a new manufacturing facility. Armed with a culture of fearless innovation and relentless speed, the team created Conatech from the ground up. A core team of 7, including Tim Bankey and Sean Fraser, turned a broom-swept shop floor into a working manufacturing facility. Every production table and piece of furniture was hand-assembled in days. Conatech panels were being installed at the customer site in weeks.
Conatech grows

Conatech quickly became a trusted partner to some of the nation’s largest cloud computing and social media companies by meeting, and often exceeding, its commitments. Containment led to the steel racks that support them, which led to industrial strength caging to keep racks secure, which in turn led to more opportunities. And growing pains.
LFM Capital Invests

New products and new customers created demand that was straining plant capacity. This inflection point led to a partnership with PE firm LFM Capital to invest in growth and continue our path of innovation.
Instor joins the team

Founded in 1996, Instor had decades of data center design experience and thousands of successful integrations. With Instor expertise added to the Accelevation family of custom manufacturing and creative problem solving, the company reinvented itself as a comprehensive data center solutions provider.
Hypergrowth

Perhaps the busiest and most critical year yet, Accelevation added over 125 new team members, built out and moved into a new corporate headquarters, signed and broke ground for a new, world-class manufacturing hub, and launched their Power Solutions product line.
One Accelevation

In an industry defined by rapid innovation and change, Accelevation is built to thrive. While we don’t know what tomorrow will bring, we know we will innovate, adapt and continue to lead the industry. Starting in 2025, we identified and partnered with Olympus Capital to support our next phase of growth. Customer requirements will evolve, we will enhance our products to meet new challenges, our services will expand. What won’t change is the Accelevation culture first envisioned at that kitchen table—employee and customer-centric, fearless innovation, relentless speed, and open collaboration.
